Armagh
The Australia-Pacific Centre for IofC in Melbourne

Armagh, Melbourne
Armagh is a hub of communications and networking, with an emphasis on relationships, on community building and on conflict resolution.

Set in Melbourne's leafy Toorak among other gracious houses, Armagh has become home to countless Australians and people of the Asia-Pacific area and beyond.

The property was given in 1956 by industrialist Cecil McKay and his wife Marjorie, and was furnished and equipped through the gifts of dozens of ordinary people who shared their vision of IofC as a 'force for good’.

In the same spirit, over 50 years people have continued to give time, skills, money and treasured possessions to make possible all that happens here.

What goes on at Armagh...

Residential Life Matters courses help young adults to explore the deeper areas of life, including finding a satisfying purpose, personal identity and spiritual development – all in the context of practical living in a small community.

Armagh is also a venue for a variety of public events. See the 'get involved' section for more information.
